Carolina Rodriguez-Vargas is a Licensed Master Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. Carolina’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and strength-based, drawing from evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions. She works with clients to identify patterns, build coping strategies, and foster lasting change through self-awareness and personal empowerment.
As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Spanish, Carolina has worked across diverse settings including schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and community mental health programs. Her background includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, behavioral challenges, grief, and trauma.
Carolina’s career has included roles as a clinician, school social worker, bereavement coordinator, and behavioral health liaison. These experiences have shaped her holistic understanding of how emotional, social, and environmental factors influence mental health and wellbeing.
She believes in standing up for social justice, preserving the dignity and worth of every individual, and ensuring that care is delivered with integrity and cultural humility. Carolina is currently working toward her Clinical Social Work licensure under the supervision of Dr. McNellie.
